Media Release: 2022 McDonalds Mackay Flagon and Dragon

MAKING the lives of sick and disabled children better one piece of equipment at a time. All with the help of the local community supporting local charities.

Flagon and Dragon celebrates 30 years with the next fundraising luncheon set to be held at the Mantra Marquee on the 15th of July 2022. Over the past 30 years Flagon & Dragon have proudly raised and donated over $1.5 million to various groups and organisations in the Mackay region.

The last Flagon & Dragon luncheon event raised $234,308.00 and the recipients of these funds include Mackay Hospital Foundation, All Abilities Mackay, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and the Children’s Ward at the Mackay Mater Hospital.

This is only made possible by the fantastic support of sponsors and the Mackay community. Flagon & Dragon have been able to aid and care for sick and disabled children, by raising funds for vital equipment.

Flagon & Dragon have the amazing support of various sponsors again for 2022. The gold sponsor is McDonald’s Mackay, sliver sponsor is Mackay Land Sales, and 4 bronze sponsors are Brown & Bird, Crokers Fuel and Oils, NQBE and Woollam Constructions.
